Climeon is expanding and we are looking for a new family member to our Service & Delivery Team. As an Electrical Site Design Engineer you will have the important role of designing the interface /connection between our modules (HP 150) and the main power distribution grid.

Job description

The challenge that you will face is to connect sets of our converters to the public grid in the most efficient way following local grid codes and regulations. As this interface is so critical to the customer you will become a very important member in the company. You will work closely to the customer when designing the site electrical system. This would include the design of:

  • Connection/transmission from HP150 to grid connection point
  • Protection equipment following local regulations
  • Transformers and other equipment as necessary
  • Back-up systems
  • Island mode prevention or intended island mode operation
  • Remote control of HP150 systems

Apart from the design you will also do the analysis of different local grid codes and requirements. You will work towards the customer, but also towards many different interfaces internally such as Sales, R&D, Purchasing, and Production.

Who are you?

As a person you always make delivery your highest priority, but you are also a team player with great social skills as you interact with so many interfaces, both internally and externally.

We believe that you have a B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar. Relevant design background could be wind or solar system design, power plant design, power electronics design, transmission systems or substation design, electrical systems for ships. You have ideally working experiences within power station or substation construction projects, or wind/solar construction projects. As our customers are mainly located abroad it is important that you have the possibility to travel regularly.
