Do you have application knowledge and experience from the rolling mill industry? Would you like to play a key role in enhancing our products and supporting our customers and organization in application and technical product issues? Then this might be a job for you!

Tasks

As Senior Product Engineer you will have the overall technical product responsibility for the mechanics and hardware of Stressometer – a system used for flatness measurement and control in rolling mills. In your role, you define and coordinate product improvements to enhance the customer value of our products and ensure continuous high product quality. To succeed in doing this you have the ability to set clear goals, prioritize actions and lead your colleagues and team members in their work.

You will work in close collaboration with R&D, operations, sales, customers and suppliers. Supporting customers and colleagues within your area of expertise will also be part of your job. You will operate at the center of events and will be provided with a large network, great insight and the opportunity to further develop the product line.

Requirements

As a person you are communicative and enjoy sharing knowledge. You have analytical skills and good problem solving abilities with structured approach. You enjoy taking initiative, visualizing goals, defining actions and inspiring your colleagues to join in.

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with experience of working with mechanical maintenance, design or process engineering in rolling mills or similar applications. Knowledge about measurement and control systems, product quality, project management and product life cycle management is qualifying. Knowledge in Swedish and English is a requirement.
