Carlsberg Sverige are now looking for our new Sales Development Manager, On Trade.

Value Management and Commercial Development (VM&CD) is a central function in Carlsberg Sverige with focus on strategy, business planning, value management, cross functional projects within Carlsberg Sverige and sales channel development. Furthermore the function supports the top management in business reviews, strategy work and board meetings.

The Sales Development Manager reports to the Head of VM&CD and is a part of the VM&CD team, also including three others, such as Marketing/Sales Development Managers, a Project Manager, and a Promotion Demand Planner. In this role you will act as a full member of the On Trade commercial team. 

Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Manager, your main task will be to monitor profitability and analyze pricing, discounts, costs, market and sales. Together with the management team, you will see the implementation of the proposed improvements initiatives.

Your responsibilities and assignments will be

Proactively and in teams plan and execute cross functional initiatives related to On Trade – with a special focus on Value Management (e.g. price and trade terms)
Participate and support the planning (strategy, commercial plan, business plan, estimates) effort from On Trade perspective
Taking a helicopter view and consider the full value chain
Represent and support the On Trade team in Value Management processes and initiatives
Conduct analysis and communicate sharp findings to project teams, senior management and other employees in Carlsberg Sverige or Carlsberg Group, from a On Trade perspective

As this role is 80% for the On Trade team, 20% will be assigned to non-On Trade projects, tasks and analysis

Personal qualifications

We are looking for a person who has experience from similar tasks or minimum five years of experience from sales, planning /analysis, market/market analysis or equivalent. One requirement, however, is previous experience from sales analysis.

A relevant Master degree
Excellent analytical skills in combination with a commercial mindset
Experience in developing and implementing cross functional initiatives
Strong stakeholder capabilities
Experience from working towards On Trade is a strength
Strong interpersonal skills and "can do" mindset
Excellent IT skills especially MS Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of PowerBI as an advantage)
Be fluent in Swedish and English speaking, reading and writing 

You thrive in working in fast pace and ambitious environment. You have an experience in working with project tools and presentation techniques which you may have gained in working in similar positions.
You are a dedicated team player and understand the necessity of working cross functions and locations. You act accordingly to our AAA behaviors (alignment, accountability and action) with great ease and respect.
